Systems Interface win Contract for Kabaale Airpport, Uganda
15-Oct-2019Systems Interface will supply a Normarc Instrument Landing System (ILS) co located with Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) and a Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Range Beacon (DVOR) co-located with a DME. Systems Interface will also supply and install an Automatic Weather Observation System (AWOS) manufactured by Coastal Environmental Systems.

About Kabaale International Airport
The new airport, part funded by UK Export Finance to the value of GBP 215 million is being built on 174 acres of land in the Western Region of Uganda near the Kaiso-Tonya Oilfields. It is part of the infrastructure construction underway in preparation for the development of Uganda’s nascent petroleum industry. The airport will play an important roll handling the cargo and passenger aircraft carrying equipment and staff to develop the proposed Uganda Oil Refinery.
