Here are programme summaries of selected projects that cover certain Solutions and Professional Services (including Consultancy) that SIL offer in the following aviation domains: Navigation, ATC Tower, Communication, Surveillance, Meteorological and Solar powered airfield lighting.

DME Network (Tajikistan)

Systems Interface was awarded a contract by the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) Tajikairnavigation to install six en route DME’s (Distance Measuring Equipment) throughout Tajikistan.

ATC Facility (Ports of Jersey)

Jersey Airport’s Business Continuity Plan required a resilient operational capability to mitigate the effects of a catastrophic event in the existing ATC Building.

Consultancy (Bahrain)

Systems Interface were responsible for the feasibility study and system design for the new transmitter and receiver stations, this included full safety case approval, pre-contract management of the equipment tendering process and post contract consultancy services during the delivery phase through to final operational acceptance.

VCS Voice Communications (Land's End)

Systems Interface Engineers installed and commissioned a Frequentis 3020X Voice Communication System at Land’s End Airport. The VCS was installed at three positions, two in the Visual Control Room and one in the engineering room.
