Systems Interface awarded ILS and DME Contract for Sri Lanka

Systems Interface Ltd has been awarded a major contract for the supply and installation of an ILS (Instrument Landing System) and a DME (Distance Measuring System) at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Colombo-Sri Lanka.

Contracts were signed in July 2011 between Queens Group Sri Lanka and Airport and Aviation Services(Sri Lanka) Limited, a government owned company, for the supply and installation by Queens Group’s valued partner in Sri Lanka, Systems Interface Ltd, for a Normarc 7000 ILS and a Moog Fernau 2020 DME.
Completion of installation will be early 2012.
