Republic of Angola NDB Contract

Systems Interface, has been awarded the contract by Metalite Aviation Lighting, a trading division of Aeronautical & General Instruments Limited, on behalf of a large multinational oil company for the supply, installation and commissioning of a Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) and MF Mast complete with Solar Powered Obstruction Light at Soyo Airport, Zaire, Republic of Angola.

The Nautel VR125D NDB and Systems Interface designed 10m Mast complete with an Avlite AV410 Solar Powered Obstruction Light will replace the existing beacon.

As distributors of Avlite Solar Aviation Products, Systems Interface supply sustainable energy and cost saving solar powered permanent and portable aviation lighting solutions to airports throughout the world.

This contract, following close on the heels of the recent award to supply Nautel NDB’s to the Zambian Air Force, demonstrates Systems Interface’s experience and ability to operate throughout the continent of Africa and worldwide.
