Installation and commissioning of a CAT III ILS system at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster
Systems Interface successfully delivered this major turnkey project at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster and was responsible for the supply, installation and commissioning of a CAT III ILS system, relocation of an existing ILS and supply of Meteorological equipment, full system integration, project management, and civil works.

The equipment included a Normarc 7014B Dual Transmitter Two-Frequency Localizer System, Normarc 3526 16-Element Two-Frequency Localizer Antenna System, Normarc 7720 ILS Far Field Monitoring System, 7034B Glide Path System, Normarc 3545 M-Array Glide Path Antenna System.
The CAT III Dual Base Revolver Transmissometers were supplied by Telvent, with Technical Safeguarding, ILS Simulation and Modelling provided by Cyrrus Associates.
Robin Hood Airport aims to cater for 3 million passengers and 50,000 tonnes of freight each year, offering a gateway centrally located to service tourism in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
