Systems Interface awarded prestigious NDB contract by Romatsa

04-Apr-2011

The Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration (ROMATSA) has awarded a prestigious NDB contract to UK company, Systems Interface for the supply of 20 NDB systems across nine Romanian airports.

Once again Systems Interface has succeeded in winning a contract to supply Nautel NDB systems to Romania. The NDB system has been specially designed and configured to meet ROMATSA’s precise specification. The specification for the system required two separate single VR125 NDB transmitters configured into a dual (pair mode) with automatic main/standby switching – each transmitter will operate independently. The ATU 500 Antenna Tuning Units and Remote Beacon Monitor Receivers complete the system.

Systems Interface will also provide ROMATSA with full training, Site Acceptance Testing and in-country support once all systems have been installed.

To win this contract, despite stiff competition, Systems Interface supplied the most compliant and cost effective solution to the customer.
